    The best part of trapeze was setting up for a trick and working very week to finally hit it. Timing, listening to the coach, and consistency is everything in this sport. The coaches at SB Trapeze are amazing. They worked with me for over a year a couple times a week!

    I have been lucky to learn how to shoot on a professional camera with my mother who is a photographer. I enjoy macro photography, shooting wildlife, and even drone photography.

    Horseback riding is a fun way to enjoy nature and learn to take care of an animal.

  • 3D PRINTING

    3D printing is a great skill to be able to create custom parts from scratch, and create anything you can imagine. As well as learning skills such as tinkerCAD and other modeling software.

  • SKATEBOARDING

    Skateboarding has been one of my favorite hobbies for a long time. I will never forget my first kick-flip. CARP SKATE PARK local skate park and shop that we helped raise funds to get it opened! I also enjoy building my own ramps and jumps.

    Dave Johnson at Progressive Surfboards taught me every step of making a surfboard, from shaping the foam, to painting and glassing.

    I learned from Barnaby Draper at Santa Barbara Hives how to keep bees.We kept a hive and did a lot of work to tend to them over the pandemic and the reward is that we got great honey.

    During the pandemic I really got into painting and I was thankful to study with Trey London during that time. I also enjoy working with spray paints and charcoal and pencil. My first art show at school I actually sold all my "spray planets". I have sold my artwork at Makers Markets and have even sold to The Well in Summerland California.

  • FISHING

    Making day trips to Lake Casitas is one of my favorite weekend activities. My teacher Fred Klinshaw has taught me many knots and techniques.

    I enjoyed learning how to create bowls and mugs at the Clay Studio in Goleta.

  • DIRT BIKING

    I saved my money for almost a year to be able to afford a used electric dirt bike. After fixing it up and putting some new parts on, I began riding everyday. Before that, I loved mountain biking. My mentors have been Gonzo's Cycles in Carpinteria and the Electric Bikes of Santa Barbara Shop.

    Although we only go once a year, snowboarding is something I always look forward to.

  • LEATHERSMITHING

    Leathersmithing is still one of my favorite hobbies. I make personalized belts, bracelet cuffs, and wallets. I learned from Stephen at Makesmith Leather.

  • BAKING + COOKING

    I have always loved baking and cooking. My favorites are pies, cakes, and cookies but I also can do steaks, omelettes, and chicken sandwiches. I also love making sushi.
